![]() The division process is carried out in Galois Field GF(2). In order to calculate CRC code, the division process divides the k-bit data stream (dividend) with a set of n-bit wide divisor which is called CRC generator. While translating this division process in hardware, we commonly use Linear Feedback Shift Registers (LFSRs) because of enormous merits of LFSR approach. ![]() The CRC is performed through division process of simple binary data or polynomial. Cyclic redundancy check is one of the most commonly practiced methods to ensure data integrity during data storages and transfers. In most of the cases these errors cannot be ignored in some cases where we can go unnoticed and ignore the occurrence of the error such as in the case of an erroneous pixel in high resolution video. In digital information handling error may occur. In this talk, we present a systematic computation method for obtaining Cyclic Redundancy Code (CRC) code using difference equation model.
